James Wright - Editor Adland Community Gazette

Hello Adlanders,

The month of March 2013 has come and gone already, and with it there have been many challenges for me. I've been nominated to be a Company Instructor, and am presently working on becoming a Company Check Airman for the Learjet 20/30/50 series and have been in special training for this, consequently my online adventures have suffered a bit.

This month I'm featuring a gentleman by the name of Ken Wolff. Ken has blessed the Adland Community since August 27, 2007. He's got an interesting story to tell. If you are not friends, please invite him!

May you be blessed with all your activities.

Sincerely,

James Wright

Hello Friends in Adlandpro,

It is such an honor to share with you a few highlights of my wonderful life.  I thank you all for being here and James Wright the Editor of the Adlandpro Community Gazette for this opportunity.

My lovely wife Elaine and I are currently enjoying the Desert Hot Springs area near Palm Springs California.  We came here to camp at the Catalina Spa & RV Resort and immediately hit it off with the promotional staff.  They gave us an offer that we could not refuse and now we are employed as Independent Contractors greeting new guest as they arrive.  That just happens to fit right in with what we love to do.

It was like a home coming for me as I have been in this area many times.  I first came to the Imperial Valley soon after College in 1972.  As a gradualte from California State University Fresno with a BA Degree in Sociology I started looking for work in the San Jose area.  There were close to 200 people applying for every position I was seeking.  Most of them had Masters Degrees.  I ended up working at Johnny Quick Food Stores for $2.00 an hour.  After about 6 months I was up to $3.00 an hour but it looked like that was as high as it was going to go.  My request for a management position did not get very far.

I had an invitation from a friend to come to Colorado and work at Loveland Ski Basin.  My friend was on Ski Patrol but I was just an advanced beginner on skies and  took a position as a lift operator.  I also worked in construction building condominiums in Georgetown.  I was not there long and I had received a call from the Boy Scouts of America in San Jose saying they had a job for me.  I told them if it would still be available in April I would be glad to help them out. In April of 1973 I started a career with the BSA as a District Executive in the Ocotillo  District of the Desert Trails Council.  I spent 10 years working in four different councils from Arizona to up-state New York, Pennsylvania, and then back to California.  I retired early and started another career as a Driver Sales Rep. For Roadway Express.

In 1972 while I was working as The Exploring Executive in 6 county areas of New York and Pennsylvania my first son was born.  My mother hopped on a bus and traveled all the way across the country to spend a month with my 2nd wife, Michael and I.  While she was there she arranged for us to attend a Shaklee meeting and signed us up as Distributors.   I did not do much with it at the time but loved the products.  I did not get serious about the business until 2000 soon after my mother passed away.  My parents were quite successful in their business and I did not know how important my mother was in it until it started to fall apart without her input.  I decided I better get more serious or lose out on having access to the products.  I signed up for all the training, listened to every cassette tape I could get my hands on.  I started talking to everyone that came into shouting range.  I soon found that I was not going to be very good at this the way I was doing it.  People would see me coming and cross the street j-walking to avoid me.

In about 2005 I discovered the Internet and a whole new way of Marketing.  One of my early mentors was Ann Seig and the “Renegade Network Marketing” system.  I stopped chasing friends and family.  That was the early stages of what is now called branding, becoming know as a person who has things people are looking for.

It was right about then that I found Adlandpro for the first time.  Like many of our new members I signed up and put it on the back shelf.  I would check in from time to time and see something of quality.  I noticed that Adlandpro was different than any other community on the Internet that I was exposed to.  The owner and CEO Bogdan Fiedur was interactive and cared about the members of this community.  He listened and encouraged leadership from the like-minded entrepreneurs that joined the community.  The more I came back to Adlandpro the more at home I felt.  I developed a lot of quality and productive friendships.  It is now part of my daily routine which includes a synergistic mix of Social Media Networking, Traffic Exchanges, and email marketing.

The best part of my life right now is sharing all the things I am passionate about with my lovely wife Elaine.  Or home is where we park it.  Our home on wheels.  We are “snow birds” but unlike most people who fly south to escape the snow we come to Southern California where I serve on Ski Patrol at Mt. Baldy.  We spend our summers as Host at Richardson Park Marina in the Lane County Parks in Oregon.  We love helping people to have a healthier and more prosperous life by sharing Shaklee the number 1 nutrition company in the US.  It is also in several other countries. We enjoy helping our friends here in AdLandPro by generating traffic to programs they are promoting in the "Deal of the Day" and "Copy & Paste Advertising" forums.

Thank you and God bless all of our friends here in Adlandpro,

Ken Wolff

  What's New at Adlandpro

The AdlandPro Credit Builder

The Adlandpro Credit builder is a new function of the Adlandpro social community and was created to help all members earn “credits” with the end goal of being rewarded at the end of the month, just by doing what they do everyday, coming to the community, sharing quality topics, having good conversations and other tasks that we all do when visiting any social network.

How can one earn credits and why should anyone do this?  Listed below are the many ways you can earn credits and the reason is simple..for fun, to win prizes and to help people learn how to use social networking so that fun habits will become life time habits!

In addition each  month the person who accumulates largest number of total points with the AdlandPro Credit Builder will receive a cash prize as well as recognition by their peers in a special forum set up especially for them.

Members have the choice of redeeming their  points after a month or accumulate them and redeem at a later time.

Credits can be redeemed for:

* 1:1 for traffic exchange credits
* Impression credits
* Direct contact credits
* Physical products such as IPads etc.

As you can see a lot of thought has been put into this latest innovation of AdlandPro and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the AdlandPro Credit Builder and how it has helped you.

If you have not joined AdlandPro yet …come on in and be welcomed by a terrific bunch of people and make it your social community home away from home.

The AdlandPro Wall

The AdlandPro Wall has become such a success, and so many people use it to say hi, share a joke, music etc…I loved what Ernest Polk said “WOW! I like this better than *********(Facebook). LOL!” ….Thanks Ernest and I am very glad you are enjoying our community.

AdlandPro Praise

This week brought a positive overflow of comments from happy Adlandpro users. I’ve been so grateful to read them and excited about the way Adlandpro has been developing for the past few months! Things are starting to get really really good! Here are a just few of the latest comments:

"Hello, fellow members, the new website looks really great! Hi!,”
 Lillian Tillman

“I have been just spending some time deleting safe list accounts, bull crap networking sites like Sworm, Bizoppers, kultrack, and any other business opportunities sites where it is so over loaded with crap and worthless.. oh I better stop there. It totally amazes me that I thought I needed to sign up for this kind of stuff a few years ago to post over and over to same old people that are posting over and over to the same old people. At least this site AdlandPro, has some intelligence going on and interesting people that have real conversations, funny stories, and just so much more. “

Mark

“I love this community so many genuine good people in one place!”

Justin

“Today is exactly 6 full years how I've joined AdlandPro. In that name I've baked a special cake. Annnnd, I'd say my well known a-bra(n)ca-da-bra-(n)ca words, so you'd get your piece right before you. Guys and guls - love you so much! Long live AdlandPro!!!”

Branka

I am impressed per the positive updates you've introduced to the portal.
It is getting better & better everyday.

Thanks

#AdlandPro 5 years Later

Reading about #AdlandPro 5 years later reminded me of opening a time capsule, so many memories, evaluating what has been done and maybe even learning what needs to be done to help people use my community to help them become even more successful in all they want to do.
