Hello Adlanders,
Good to be publishing another Best Forum Award
Newsletter. We catch up with this newsletter for July, August and
September. Lots of changes have been going on and well, looks
like things might just be settling down a bit. I'll leave that up
to Bogdan to talk to you about in the next section.
I would like to talk to all of you about the BFA. You guys have
been continuously nominating some great forums. Each month it
seems that the winner is only by a few hundredths of a
point. When they are that close, we always go back and
recalculate just to make sure. LOL!!
I hope you will all keep an eye out for new members who are creating
some good forums. Send them a link to the BFA and let them kow
that we have a competition going on that has a nice reward!
I also would like to thank Branka Babic for her assistance in gathering
everything up for this issue. We had to go through the new format
to find everyone's profiles, forums and images. Please give
Branka a big warm hug of gratitude. <Thank you Branka>
I believe that Pauline will be back for October. Hopefully, she
will be able to reestablish consistancy back in the managing of the
BFA! Go Pauline!
Thank you everyone for hanging in there through this summer and for
keeping the nominating and voting interesting.
See ya later!

Hello Adlanders,
Welcome back
to the BFA newsletter! There have been quite a few changes to the
community and I know most members have had a few weeks to
familiarize themselves with the new look of the community and some
are still adjusting to the changes.
Adlandpro understands
that
people in general are genuinely adverse to change and no one likes
being taken out of their comfort zone because of these changes or
different styles; however our goal was to make the Adlandpro
Community more efficient, effective and contemporary to today’s
standards. Let me take you through just a few of the changes we have
made and you will see that you will be able to navigate and
communicate far more effectively.
The first thing
you will notice is you can now access everything you need through
your Adland Member Home page, it’s designed so you are never more
than two clicks away from a feature or service.
Here are some
of the more notable and popular features that members can take
advantage of:
Find old friends and
introduce yourself to new friends.
Now you can access
friends like never before. On your Friends page use convenient tabs
to view friends online, their upcoming birthdays or friends in your
area and the popular new feature is the New Members tab, this allows
you to see the newest members to the Adlandpro community.
Check it out!
Find Friends Online.
Your people
search to look for other people that use the site that you already
know (or perhaps, that you'd like to know) and invite them to be a
friend today.
Check it out!
Tell us where you live?
By telling us
what city you live in, you'll be able to get quicker access to
classifieds, groups, events, and forums, as well as find people in
your city already using our site.
Check it out!
Participate in our
forums, or just read what others are saying?
Participate today in one of the fastest growing communities out
there, and make a name for yourself!
Check it out!
Place a free ad.
Whether you're
looking for personals, real estate, a new job, or any number of
other things, a free classified on our site is one of the best ways
to spread the word.
Check it out!
Online Chat,
new and improved. You can see which of your friends is online
and engage in a chat session, it is located by the bright yellow box
in the bottom right corner of the page.
Sharing your interests
and find people interested in the same things. When you indicate
your interests, we can display YOU and your business all over the
community to people who have the same interests and this in turn
will bring you traffic to your website. Thus you can meet people who
share your interests, and work together on Adlandpro Community.
You will
see the Adland Bulletin newsletter with an updated look and after a
brief hiatus, the obvious return of the BFA newsletter.
Once you get
accustomed to effortless navigation and the ability to access the
features quickly, you will see that it is straightforward and far
more effective. These types of changes in the navigation of the
Adland Community will draw new members and more interest.
By making the
community user friendly to everyone, both old and new members,
increases the overall total of members involved and is a
contributing factor to your level of success.
Regards,
Barry

Knowing
when to quit
By
Roger Macdivitt
<>I’m
not a quitter. How about you?
Some
people are quitters and everybody
knows who they are. We all know those who just never finish what they
start.
Ok,
so some things aren’t that
important. That’s a decision we have to make and that is fine. If it is
happening to you regularly and these are non-important things then you
need to
take a little more time to think about what you undertake.
No,
I’m talking here about the
decisions we make, those that we expect to make a difference to
our lives. If
we spend time and money on a scheme and it doesn’t work, we need to
take
a look at why. Are we using all of the tools we need? Are we putting in
the
time and effort necessary? Are we seeking advice and accepting offers
of help?
Are we seeing others succeed where we don’t?
If
the answer to these questions is yes,
and you are still not making the progress that you want, then it’s time
to consider (sorry, got to say it) quitting.
Maybe
you joined a program to support
somebody? If it’s going nowhere, neither are you, or indeed, them.
Maybe
you re-invented yourself? If it didn’t work then maybe you picked the
wrong choice for you. You must be able to accept your own errors of
judgement
or timing.
I
have joined lots of programs and done
nothing with them. Who hasn’t? The
difference is this;
I
probably thought that this project
might add a new dimension to my businesses. Maybe I saw something that
would be
easy to do. Perhaps everyone else was doing this, so why not
me? Familiar?
Now
let’s get to the point. Are
you doing
something that you have exhausted all avenues in an attempt to succeed
at? Are
you still doing something that has taken a huge amount of time, energy
and
money from you, and for what? Yes?
Time
to quit.
When
Winston Churchill said the famous
words “Never, never, never give up” he meant on yourself, on
your dream, on your salvation.
Knowing
“when to quit” and
doing it doesn’t mean you are a quitter.
Swallow
that pride, take a look at your
life, make a decision about what you want, and pursue that dream with
passion.
If
you decide upon a dream and
ask for the right doors to open, you will succeed. Quitting
won’t
even figure in your future. If you’re not one of life’s quitters
you will never quit believing in yourself.
After
all, you are special.

Summer Time
A lot has been going on lately with changes of the format on
Adland. I hope you won't let it keep you from the daily
activities in Adland. Some may take some time to get used to, but
Bogdan says that there are some great advantages and benefits to the
changes.
Stay involved! Keep supporting each other's forums. If you
find something helpful, pass it on to the others. The word will
get out quickly. Hey, that is being active in the community.
See you next month,
Joe Downing

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

I have to say
how much I enjoyed Branka’s article which appeared in the Newsletter.
Branka outlined so well, in her own wonderful way, the inner conflicts
which stop so many from fulfilling their ultimate best in life.
When we take time to look inside and find our real strengths and
gifts we may well be surprised at how talented we really are. We
also need to listen to others to find out what we project to the
physical outside world. Only by listening can we hope to learn.
When we combine our inner and outer strengths we become invincible. We
are powerful enough to move mountains with our minds. If we were faced
with a mountain of sand separating us from a loved one in peril and the
only tool we had was a small trowel we would not hesitate to use the
trowel to move that mountain.
If a mountain of doubt separates you from the “real you” you need to
use your combined inner and outer strength to remove the mountain.
Itmight take time but if you make a determined start you will one day
succeed.
Branka has a wonderful way of using her life-experience to encourage
others to shrink their challenges.
Thank you team for bringing Branka’s thoughts to us.
